Evaluation FAQ
Evaluation FAQ
Who can you evaluate?
I can provide homeschool evaluations for students in grades K-12 who live in Pennsylvania.
What does an evaluation cost?
The cost for one child is $30.
Two children cost $45
Three or more children cost $60
How long will the evaluation take?
Please schedule a 30 minute block for one or two children. Families with three or more children will schedule a 60 minute block (choose two consecutive 30 minute blocks).
In addition to your appointment, I will spend time looking over the work samples that you send me so that I am ready to discuss them when we meet.
Can we meet in person?
For this year, evaluations are going to remain virtual. I was hesitant about virtual evaluations at first, but I found them to work beautifully. Children are most comfortable in their own homes and that shines through on video chat. They are able to show projects, play instruments or anything else that they are proud of and you don’t have to leave the comfort of your own home.
How do I pay you?
Please send payments via Paypal or Venmo
Paypal~ floraschubert@hotmail.com
Venmo~ @Flora-Schubert
Cash/Check in mail: Please contact me for a mailing address
All payments are due a week before your evaluation.
When are evaluations due?
All evaluations must be turned in to your school district by June 30th.
What happens after the evaluation?
After we meet, I will email you a short form that goes to the school district or I can tuck it into the mail for you. The form states that you have met all of the requirements for the school year. This simple form is the only thing that your school district gets at the end of the year.
Evaluation FAQ
How does my child get a high school diploma?
After completing Pennsylvania’s graduation requirements, I can print and sign a state diploma for your 12th grader.
Can you create a transcript for my child?
I do not create transcripts, but there are evaluators and organizations that do offer this service. I do suggest that you keep a transcript of your child’s progress in high school. If your child is in 12th grade, I do need to see the transcript in order to be sure that all requirements are completed before I can sign a diploma. Please ask me for forms to help keep track of your courses to be sure that requirements are being met.
How do I share work for a virtual evaluation?
Let your creativity shine. Families create social media pages, send photos via google drive, use FB messenger, email, videos, seesaw, bulb, etc… You could make a project of this and have an older child create an online portfolio.
I still have questions. How can I contact you?
You are always welcome to email me with any questions that aren’t answered here. You can reach me via email or through FB messenger.
